Free Online Hearing Test
Check your hearing from home in about 5 minutes. Listen to a series of tones and get a preliminary result that shows whether a full hearing exam at one of our centers makes sense for you.
How the online test works
1. Put on headphones
Use headphones or earbuds in a quiet room. The test plays tones at different pitches and volumes.
2. Respond when you hear a sound
Tap or click each time you hear a tone. The test adjusts based on your responses.
3. Get your preliminary result
You will see a summary and a recommendation. If hearing loss is detected, we suggest scheduling a full exam.
4. Schedule a full exam if needed
The results page lets you book a free in-office hearing test at the Ear to Hear center nearest you.
This test is a screening, not a diagnosis
The online hearing test gives you a general picture of your hearing. It is not a replacement for a full hearing exam performed by a hearing care professional. If the results suggest hearing loss, we recommend scheduling a complete evaluation at one of our 12 centers in Florida, Illinois, and Missouri.
